Weekly Challenge: Seeing Red
Beautiful!
The lions paws look like human hands, and his whole 'hug' is very humanlike, I don't think a lion would hold its prey like this. But to be honest, I've never seen a lion hold its prey!
The horse's mouth might open more, and the bg looks very close. Probably a persp issue (absence thereof) in those clouds.
I think I must have been subconsiously inspired by Stubb's work. I think his paintings are lovely. The original idea wasn't much like this though, so I guess it got away on me a bit. 
I like this scene very much. The proportion loos kinda odd though.
But the one thing that bugs me is the eyes - they look too human...
I like it., the lions ears don't look so much like ears though. George Stubbs inspired?
