I'll go ahead and try that man. If the final product comes out really good, I'll post later.
The thing though about the speed of the animation though is that I can't really tweak it to make it faster, that's why most of my animations come out really choppy. I'll see what I can do about it anyways.
Nice!
I see two issues: the shadow is AAed, cool on light themes but bad on dark ones; the 8 sideways frames are too close and this results in choppiness in the anim.
You can remedy it somewhat by giving frames different timings (btw, all frames are at 0s when opened in ImageReady: not a good option if you can avoid it, I don't know why this is so frequently the case, and anims still work!)
Here is an edit with 0.1s for the front and side frames, and 0.07s (my name is...) for the sideways frames. The rotation is more even, but there is still a 'flash' for the side frames.
I tried a little slower rotation (0.15 and 0.1s), it only makes the choppiness more obvious.
Awesome, though you could've kept the interface part, just the green was a bit too striking. Lovin' it man :)
Is the gree part supposed to be transparent? Would be nicer to look at if you turned it into transparent.
Great work on the coin though.
Nope, the anim is choppy because of the uneven spacing of the frames positions. In this case, the thing should always rotate of the same angle between frames, which is difficult because you have to account for perspective.
Tweaking frametimes as I did is a very limited fix, it doesn't and can't address the main issue.
I suggest you draw an ellipse on the ground, with evenly spaced radii in perspective, this in turn will help you to draw the figure in the good positions.
In fact it's quite possible you could just add a few frames between the existing ones, where they are the more spaced. Mostly before and after the edge views.
