I like that the wide pixels sort of imitate that peculiar ultrasound look. Really nice work. I'd be curious to see this in more ultrasoundish colors.
You've used the colours in a very nicely pixelled spread. I especially like the ribbon effect.
Simply awesome!
I use P1 too and it's true, it has some little bugs, for example, sometimes the program crashes during the saving process, deleting the file as a result, but even with these bugs it remains the best software for drawing C64 pictures IMHO.
DawnBringer: I happen to know that at least one person is working on a program that has potential to be much better than P1. I gonna poke him for the functions I need.
I suspected that, downloaded Project One some time ago and it seemed decent...just didn't know if there was something even better out there.
DawnBringer: I use Project One. Probably the best program for pushing c64-pixels on PC. It is pretty buggy and lacks some functionality but it's still great.
Nice. I think one of the C64 palette's greatest weaknesses is the similarity between the yellow and the light green - but here you put the two colors to great use... what paint-program do you use for these images?
tomic: I didn't realise one could use this pic as one of those rorschach test pictures...
Well, the crew fubared the compos... One of the organizers disappeared with some romote entries with the result of them not beeing showed... and there never was any voting. I hope that means I can decide the winner myself.
It was a very nice party. Data, death and madness in an old barn.
a species half human, half alien.. frightning, it's called 'austrian' over here ;D
jk, awesome piece. accidentally found out that - rotated by 180 degrees - it looks like mad scientist smurf (tm); no results file handy here.. how well did it do on birdie?
That is amazing details, and you used good colors :)
