I like the color tone you have here, it fits Capcom's style of coloring. Going by Manupix's example, adding darker tones makes it look more like an SNK style sprite.
Will be happy to see it animated!
This is awesome, your sprites are awesome. Where her blue hair is going over her left ear doesn't look right - is it under the hair? or if it's just out of the light source I think it should be getting more light on top or shaded in a color that doesn't blend with the hair.
I think the lower legs lack contrast, otherwise it's very good.
Make their outline ugh darker!
And/or a darker underside. Maybe that's the best option.
Edit: just tried, darker underside on the right paw (ours) and darker underside + outline on the left, it works! I used a darker bluish grey, but your darkest blue workds too.
I appreciate the feedback - could you be more specific when you say "go further"? I agree that the paws should stand out more, do you have any suggestions?
