Are you a Mythos fan to becose the necro part of your screen name is part of the name of the book Necronomicon.
Actually they're a chickatrice and a cockatrice, respectively. It's a mix of a rooster and a reptile. The chickatrice is the cockatrice's baby.
Woah, still a lot of work to do, hopefully you get 'em finished one of these days :) And I'll totally check your blog out!
Not very close. I've done only 83 tiles till now. The total is 1057, so there is still a lot to do.
I'll keep updating it on my blog.
Seriously these are pretty awesome, how close are ye to finishing :)?
"Reference does not mean copy. All the pixels were made by me."
Carry on then. I was just asking 'IF'
It's a bit tricky to learn, but once you've done it is hard to stop playing.
I tried playing nethack the other day, but i had no clue what was going on ^^
I half-expected to see Felicia in the feline section. :)
Good work on these!
Reference does not mean copy.
All the pixels were made by me.
@ Necroleachate, any pixels not made by you are not acceptable. Will you please remove those sprites and only leave the ones you have made yourself.
I added the proper credits.
I took the pyrolisk from FF because I didn't know how a pyrolisk should look _ didn't find much on google about it. The gelatinous cube image I liked so much that I decided to use it. Just changed the color to a more apropriated one, in my opinion.
The other one that I thought would be the first to be recognized is the werewolf John Talbain from Darkstalkers series.
All other were made from scratch.
Also the bird next to the beholder is almost identical to the Pyrolisk/Cockatrice from FF1 dawn of souls.

I dig, though you might want to credit your references a bit more (I feel like I recognize the beholder in lower right (from sketch by Todd Lockwood), and perhaps the bee next to rightmost in top row(from ff4?))
Anyway, I feel like they might could use a touch more polish, but you have some very solid work in there.
these are realy cool! good job!
