you really overdid it with tat dithering, looks blurred and chaotic, almost like a filter or even jpeg'ed...
also its feels very empty..... , depth, lighting/ shadows,perspective, details,hue shift , would help this,.... use ur imagination, theres a lot that can be done..

Try more fluidly curved lines for the fire. The three i's bug me.

Yeah, as onek said, you overdid your aa a bit. It's always a careful balance between jagged and blurry. In general, I would suggest trying to avoid doing blocks of two (or more) pixels where one (or at least fewer) would suffice, and to try not to do layers of aa two pixels thick. Reining in the aa a bit will, ironically enough, actually make the piece look smoother overall.
