Reminds me a lot of the Prince-turned-bunny from Odin Sphere ^_^ Like the style anc choice of colors.

I have to admit, the legs are a little odd to me, the thick shadow on the foreground leg makes me think, at a quick glance, that the foreground one is actually further back...

I would suggest increasing the shading on the background leg a bit, to make it more apparent which leg is suppose to be further back.

I make stuff like this in between classes, yeah. Nothing big though. Nothing that would take more than a couple hours.

You JUST make this kind of stuff between classes? Like no big deal? I think it's an excelent sprite!
