This is an old school NES Controller drawn before your very eyes.

There is no text on the controller, because it looks weird in isometric

Hope you like it

I think the circles (elipses) are not in the same "direction" or angle as the rest.

And what about some shadows and lights?

I think, you could work on it a bit more.

Nice job, thought.

Actually there are already lots of NES controllers on this website and this doesn't rate in the top ten, so why would someone say: " I like the concept and execution. The art looks awesome. what if the D-pad were more symmetrical, would that look better" when it's not true.

Since when spotting mistakes is insult? And why say 'good job' when it is not exactly good?

Returning to d-pad, one more thing (less important, though) - it should be of darker black than on the controller - that way it would be seen better.

I am not to insult you. I am to make you care for things which you think do not matter. The things that I note are those which are crucial to appearance - all these were shurely taken into account during development - and made a great design which is a NES controller. One detail can make face ugly, one detail can make design weak.

I can take constructive criticism, but that wasn't it, it was more of an insult. I don’t want that to be all that is said about it. There is a better way to do it. " I like the concept and execution. The art looks awesome. what if the D-pad were more symmetrical, would that look better". Then I could respond acordingly like, "I had not noticed the d-pad, thank you." or "that was my idea to make it different from everyone elses, but thank you for the comment". It’s not completely accurate anyway, no text (because it looks weird in isometric), and the color may be off a little.

The thing I’m getting at is,  People on this site criticize more than just saying “Good Job”.

I’m even criticized by trying to prove the point that art (any art) does not have to be “exact”.

Comparing your work with picassos, thats the spirit :)

Picasso didnt strive for factual accuracy. You at least seem to do. If you don't, and actually want this to be considered as a work of art comparable to the ones of picasso, you have failed I guess.

A.B. Lazer was trying to give you constructive criique and you dont seem very willing to take it.

D-pad is drawn wrong - it should be symmetric in all directions.
