Does this mean you were working on the piece before you found out about the challenge? It's a rule that all pieces must be made specifically for the contest and be totally original to it.
lol, thanks for all your suggestions but, as i said, this wasn't for the challenge from the start : P so i guess i'm just gonne leave : o you gave great hints anyway : )
You could make the treads be like legs, and at the same time they spin.
It is a nice little character, I'll give you that, but it doesn't really fit any conceivable definition of a "silly walk". Neither of those two words apply to this piece. It's a "strange walk" in the same way that a bird flying is a "strange walk".
Anyway, I'm going to remove this from the challenge; but I reckon you should have another shot, you clearly have a good grasp on animation. You still have another 3.5 days btw.
PS: remember to study the silliness of the video. You'll find after rewatching the video that your robot doesn't look very silly.

That's a "strange" walk cuz he's not really walking, but moving on his caterpillars : P
I get that it is moving forward. I like the smoke/bubbles from the head area.
i started working on this after i found about the challenge, but i hadn't thought to use it for that, actually : D
