I think you could push this emotion a little farther. The car looks too ordinary and generic to be driving this manic force. It could add to the attitude of the piece if you added some personality to the car. Ed Roth's Rat Fink art might be a good reference. Great work otherwise!

i love this so much. dont change it one bit. its perfect.

remove the smoke, animate the wheels.

The car and person I like a lot, but the background is kind of annoying. I do think it would have been better if you had given it more frames to give it a real direction. And as others have said, the smoke isn't that good. It's more just random dots than real smoke coming out of the pipe. On the other hand, the face is really cool, and I like the bouncing of the car a lot too.

I hadn't actually seen the ref before, so putting it up would be good.

Well, it would look even better with 4, it was 3 frames at least!

Thanks Manupix, I used 4 frames on this piece, so doing the background moving with 3 frames should be very problematic, And I may rewory the whole animation work.

Yea, the bg is a fail, but I made this piece to be funny.

You really should link to your reference in the description. You shouldn't assume everyone knows it,  ya know? (even though they probably do)

One big mistake though: frametimes of 0.01" don't work (I've a feeling I' said this before ;) as no system/screen can handle that properly, and Firefox slows it down a lot. 0.05 or 0.1" looks fine with this picture.

The bg would be more efficient (and less seizure inducing?) with at least 3 frames, which would give an unequivocal direction.

Nice pattern on the car.

I know about the bad partst of this piece, and I am a bit sorry about it.. :p

Good idea. Looks great despite the seizures it has enduced. The smoke is a total mess and disaster. I would remake it using the dithering style used on the car at the bery least. Truth be told the smoke is NPA.
