Very mature. Assuming you were 14 when you made these, that puts your age around 30 to 34. However, you certainly do not act like it. Your posts are very immature and you come off as that of a pre-teen. Do note you were the first to strike with rudeness and a sophomoric attitude.

Grow a pair and GTFO.

surely it would be possible to get the same pallete, same shape, try a range of fills and reproduce the result (thereby showing it wasn't done by hand)?

i didn't look at the dithering and i don't know much about dithering or automatic dithering.

@sharprm: We may not be able to 100% prove this was not done by hand...but how often can one do that!?

However consider the opposite...

A 14 year old, very mediocre artist, somehow is able to order-dither with almost mathematical perfection 173 colors whith many shades almost inseperable to the human eye!?

All while everyone else is using gradient-fill-tools for the same task, this person is doing this by hand in a process that must have taken countless hours...and he does not even have a single proof, reason or story to backup how or why...

However, I'm sure he's a legit scener...too bad he didn't take the time to understand the paradigm of PJ.

You all are funny here !

You know I have nothing to prove, I just wanted to post some old works I made when I was young.
Now you think I'm cheater, lier.. ok ok

I prefer leave this website then please explain to me how to delete my account !? I didn't see this option...

or maybe it is more easy to be ban ?

then :

Bob :  I imagine you are a frustred poor guy who just feel important when you can insult work of other people. You probably are really stupid and not interesting guy in real life...

Angel of shit : Don't talk about things you don't know and maybe I can imagine you have a brain

Now delete my account ! and go to hell !

you could try to prove it by recreating gradient fills and looking for things that wouldn't occur when doing it by hand. eg. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e199/sharprm/circle.png [note i can't be bothered doing this.]

its pretty funny to ban a tool (gradient fill) and then assume someone used purely because it would be stupid to do it by hand

if it was done many years ago proof might not exist (eg. limited hard disk space, no WIP).

heh what is appropriate way to react when people accuse you of lying?

The obvious problem is that as soon as anyone says anything about any form of automatic scripts, tools, and the like, you simply say "No no, I swear I did it myself" and expect them to take it as fact. Also, all of your pieces are stated as coming from the early 1990s for obscure demogroups of which can't be found by Google. My rule of thumb is if you can't find one group out of over 10 listed, start suspecting something.

The thing that makes me suspect most that you're covering something up is how you react when people don't accept your notions off the bat.

For all I know these could be hand-pixeled. Unfortunately, I don't. No one does. You have to give us proof, not just your word.

What is your problem Bob ?

Maybe you can explain...

I apologize if you feel this way, but our views on this haven't changed. Also, please don't revert to cursing, it solves nothing here.

Pandafox (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/17/2009 05:13

Bob, Dawnbringer, what is the fucking problem with you ???
I said it is 100% pixel by pixel, can't you understand that ? Is it too difficult for you ?

Next time I think I will delete my account here, probably it is the best to do when I see that...

Sorry, I don't believe that. Why would you spend days or weeks doing something by hand when there's a tool that did it for you in seconds!?? But so what, you didn't do anything wrong in 1994...that's how many pictures where made then (and now)... it's just one of those things that PJ don't like (it's part of a way trying separate "tool-aided 24-bit gfx" from "precision pixel-art"), a lot of amazing scene-art has fallen victim to that line-drawing.

Anyhoo, don't take it personal  & I hope to see some new stuff from you aswell.

The B.O.B. (Level 11 Master Assassin) @ 11/16/2009 15:13

I agree, the "o" of the piece screams it was automatically done...and if it was done by hand, I don't understand the need for so much banding and colors on it...not to mention random colors just sprinkled on some letters, that don't quite make much sense...

user
Pandafox (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/16/2009 14:08

Dawnbringer :

Nothing automatic in this, all handmade 100 %

user
DawnBringer (Level 10 Pixel artist) @ 11/16/2009 12:24

This I suspect is the result of extensive (auto) color-ranging/ditherering.

Yeah I like this too.

I like that one!
