Gentleman Death relies on his angled physique and steampipe hat to camouflage against rooftops and skylines as he stalks through the city.
I initially intended to make this is a Halloween piece, but work reared its ugly head. So this can be a Thanksgiving piece instead.
Crafting the 16-color palette proved challenging, since I wanted strong primary colors that required discrete ramps. It's difficult to make a piece look smooth but not monochromatic with a limited color count. In my Digger piece, most of the elements used the same color ramp; I just shaded with either the dark or the light half of the range. This piece forced me to break from that approach and experiment.
EDIT: Here is a reference photo I snapped and used. It seems like everyone has figured out that this is a real place, so I'm not spoiling anything.
From this photographic evidence, you can see that Gentleman Death isn't entirely fictitious either.
Also, adjusted the fugly dithering. Hopefully it's been eliminated.
