UPDATE2: Stupid bug in my script - missed an error in the image signature. Fixed both. (Oct 2010).

UPDATE: I've written a Grafx2 script to check C64 images for errors and found a bunch in this picture . Ok, all updated & fixed now I hope.

C64 Hires, 16 colors. 2 colors per 8x8 area.

Right, so this is an experimental piece. My first drawn C64-Hires not counting some programmed gfx on an actual C64.

I wanted to see how bleeding hard it would be to draw/dither in this near-impossible mode. Well, it worked so-so...but it took forever...so I changed into the box-texture instead.

(I have written an algorithm that does perform a similar box-dither with additional error-diffusion to great effect with limited palettes...however that was NOT used on this image which is 100% hand-drawn.)

Worth showing? Dunno...you be the judge!
