Ok I get what you're saying. It's because the tank covers the majority of that part. I'll have to look into that.
The 3 darkest tones of the foremost background layer, not the foreground plants.
If you can't spot the seam then that's a good thing. The background moves by a constant number of pixels, but it might be one pixel off where the seam is.
Not sure what you mean about the 3 darkest greens. Do you mean the foreground plants?
Thanks for comments.
Agree with DB. There are some issues with this bg, but it's worth fixing and keeping it.
What do you mean by seamless? I don't see any seam.
The motion looks a bit irregular: are all frametimes the same, and / or does the bg move by a constant n° of pixels between each frame?
I think I understand your idea with the 3 darkest greens moving separately, but it doesn't work well: esp the darkest seems not to move, but to pop up and out around the tank. It would probably look better without that option.
The foreground plants should move faster to keep the parallax effect.
Tank is cool. The turret might recoil too.
Cool anim - I like the parallax bg, but you should have made it (first layer) more faded/bluer...it's too close to the color of the tank right now.
I was trying to get the scrolling background working, im sure there's a certain formula to make it seemless, but I couldn't find it. Do you think if I removed the background I should leave the smoke etc.
Personally I think you should remove the background, the tank looks much better without it
The tank is very good. The background is lacking details as you said, and makes the tank less visible.
aww, this little tanc is to fall in love with ^^ so cute and adorable *lol*
