funny you say that. i've been tring to team up with another artist to make this but it seems like thats an imposible ask :(

 Yeah, the first and second Duke Nukem games are the ones it reminds me of, in particular. You should team up with someone to make a game.

yeah i was making it to the size of a gameboy screen. thats why its so small, i made this decision because i can't make big characters they turn out looking like a two year ld made it :(

IQbrew: yeah thats because the colors aren't dark enough around the edges to blend in more with the backgrund. i think...hmm i'll have to try and fix tat. thanks for telling me.  would you play this game if i made it?

 I'd play it. Reminds me of early 90s Apogee platformers I used to play.
