Remaking old work is fun. And you really went the distance here, no denying. Nice pose, and it all looks very elegant. My hat goes off to you.
But there are a few problems. The anatomy stuff has already been mentioned. But also, her sash seems very flat, when compared to the highly dithered robe. It and the cord don't have any shading at all, in fact.
Oh, and Jeremy is right - that external aintialiasing doesn't look too great on every theme.
Stylish; I like it! I won't beat a dead horse by talking about anatomy, but I think you could stand to cut down the dithering a bit. The face in particular would look more striking if the contours were cleaner, I think. Love her expression, though.
Huge improvement, for sure.
As others have noted, the anatomy's a bit confused. I like the face very much though, nice expression
Beautiful!
I agree belly and hand are somewhat confusing.
(edit: more specifically, the shading says belly, the outline says thigh)
About AA, it looks nice on a nice bg, either white or that light cream you have on the skin. I'd add one.
Wait, you did that in less than a day??? *gasps*
i like the pose except for the hand. maybe twist it other way?
Get rid of the external AA pretty please. Looks bad on my theme :< You could possibly use the green you have in the background and I think you missed transparifying between her side and arm. Pose is a bit twisty too, and I think that the green on the robe might look better in redder tones :)
maybe pipe mistook her belly for her ass? or do i mistake it the other way? anyways, the belly part could be clearer. but anyways, you really improved your skills! i like the upper part much.
HUGE difference between the old and remake but her stance/position is confusing. Her lower part is facing the oposite direction from her upper part of the body?
There! I added some background to fix the external AA problem. Yes, the anatomy is a rather off. Had stylization in mind rather than anatomy. I suppose that can be fixed by defining her leg, but I don't feel up to that right now. Thanks to all who pointed that out, though. Anatomy is not my strong point. :)
As for the flat sash, that was intentional (partly because of my laziness, perhaps). I rather like it this way. :)
Thank you all for the feedback. It's very much appreciated.
(I made this in around 5-6 hours. Things that take longer than a few days tend to sit unfinished in my WIP folder. :) )
