Cool palette as well with just 9 colours!
The girl's face is really good; I like the blown-up version shown in the preview. It reminds me of some of the better-drawn portraits in Ultima 7, if you've ever played that game.
I like the way the words in the background are written.
Awesome job! I would add 1 more color though, since the contrast between the darkest purple and second darkest purple is so huge. Just add another colors to let the other colors work together a little more. Other than that this is really Awesome!

I think there's a persp issue, it looks weird to have almost top-down feet and level face. It's ok in the ref because the bg persp makes it obvious that the angle of view is wide, but your bg has the opposite effect. How about giving that bg the same persp?
Also, I think the darkest pixels around the mouth don't really help.
