okay, you made something that some people were iffy about, that was STILL pretty good and deserve praise for the fact that you were trying something new.
you have lots of talent and if you're going to just quit all over something like this then i really wonder about you, man! i love your work and i REALLY don't want to see it stop being submitted here just because a few people said you could do better on a certain piece.
sure, it wasn't animated the best, but that's what LEARNING is for. you were practicing, and we all respect you for that. you should have taken the crits and applied them, in the end you would have seen a much better piece.
don't leave over something like this, dude! we all love you. as photo said, if we all just said this was a masterpiece, how would you ever improve?

Then again maybe u are leaving for other reasons such as people who rip your sprites (your other sprites at least ;) )
wow there goes his gallery. I genuinely did think it was a joke at one stage because it looked like he depicted Mathias crit of another piece where there was a floppy sword and he said it looked like a floppy pen. Also elk had said he draws in ones (which is a technical term i don't know how that works in graphics gale). I think the solution for rotation would be to avoid using outlines.
dogmeat now elk i guess i just have that affect on people.
edit: about the edit, the arm drawn back (as in he is swinging it) on my version is wrong. It would be back like that when the other leg is forward.
just so people know my previous post seems a bit out of context because elk has edited his. it was just "I'm new to animation :D that's why"
elk u should also try to explain the pose so it will help poeple give u crits.
The rotation tool is nothing bad, it's a help, and cleaning the frames up makes up for it, as rotation tool would make it really ugly.
Don't think that I did't work on it, because it looked really noisy after I rotated.

When u are satisfied with the movement you need to clean up each frame until every frame looks like your avatar.

i was just about to comment that i didn't think this was up to par with your current skills.
it's not bad at all, it's just... i didn't think it was made by you when i saw it.
this has to be a joke/satire. i don't think ive seen something this messy on PJ before and how you could ignore the overlapping layer errors? like "could i make an animation entirely using the rotation tool lolz". if so u should be upfront about it if it is so people don't waste time on crits.
I really love your work, and I enjoy this character you have been sticking to ever since I first saw your work. Good stuff, man.
why does the staff rotate? did u try to act this out with a broom and see if it rotates?
why are his legs side view but body not? so messy, staff even rotates back over his right arm??? his left hand needs to rotate with staff. dress has turned into pants you need the dress to trail behind.
the preview sprite is alot better. arms too long feet too small?
