no i don't think it does fit theme. y2k is all about some computer bug people feared would make technology take over and go absolute hay wire, around the end of 1999 and start of 2000. and the challenge was that using this knowledge make a scene that demostrates technology taking over the world.
hence why i place a comment on the challenge saying "Worst Challenge Ever'
