It seems I ran out of ideas for today 
So I leave the version with clouds here until I get some inspiration(:
@skamocore - well, I googled "sunset" and there were a lot of pictures with bright skies and dark (almost black) clouds, so I guess it works fine. Nevertheless I brightened it a bit (:
You could try a combination of the two, but IMO straight ordered dither is not the best option. The version in your last post shows promise, it just needs a bit of touching up; I think you could try making the darkest colour a bit lighter as at the moment there seems to be a bit too much contrast in the background.
That one is 10 times better! This with dithering isnt very well!

There is something I like in both versions.
Looks a little better than before, but I reckon you could do without the ordered dither. I've seen your previous work, I know you have the ability to make much nicer skies than this. That aside, this piece is still nice and has a great atmosphere.

I guess sky was kinda plain and empty so I added 3rd color and cropped image a bit. I hope its better now(:
It looks nice, but perhaps spreading the shading on the sky? But if you didn't, it still looks great.
