really nice but the curve of his left ear looks kinda edgy.
FYI, auto-antialias isn't allowed on PJ, making Paint a safe bet :P
It's a good idea to post a reference (That gr did) so people don't get suspicious, I can see that the lines do look different and everything :)
The tail colours could be used to AA the black-yellow too.
I didn't like the solid outline either but that's how the boxart was. I should've made it lighter though and anti aliased it more. Also I feel the first background is too distracting. You focus more on the background and not on Pikachu himself.
I don't like any particular background either, but If I'm choosing my poison I would say the first looks best.
The pikachu itself looks good, though i'm not a huge fan of the solid outline color.
Nah, I don't steal. When I finally got the pikachu done I was too bummed to spend time to make the background look good. I don't plan on going back to it either
those backgrounds are horrible, you did such a good job with your pikachu. makes me think this may have been a rip job...probably not the case or at least i hope not.
