The anatomy and shading need quite some work. It looks extremely stiff, as well. Maybe you could edit the pose to give it more character?
I fixed the issue with the shoulders, but I think Iwill see how it goes with the current gradient and shading, but if it doesn't work out I'll take you advice.
i have a theme with a darker background, im guessing it's almost invisible with the default theme. you shouldn't use AA aon the outside in this case, also, the shading on the back of the head could maybe be curved to fit the shape of his head a little more (like what you did on his belly) some more shades of grey fore the shading would be nice, as in, make it a relatively smooth gradient, instead of being able to se the difference between each colour.
well i'm not the greatest pixel artist out there :P so my advice might not be completely sound, but it should still be mildly helpful.
I think I was trying to use some anti aliasing, but it didn't really work. Any tips and also, how could you tell, I can hardly see it?
You mean like arms in the air odr beating its chest?
I didn't really develop a light source either so I'm not sure where you think I should shade it
