The glow is supposed to be coming from under the bed. The lamp is off and look at the title. It is an entry for the contest under the restrictions of the mysterious glow.
the glow definitly need some work... it should be round an dülaced around the lamp not the bed...u used a lot of colors that arent even visible...or at least dont serve any purpose... most ramps are much to poor in contrast... like the greys of that white thing on the left... everything looks very flat like its made from cardboard or something... compositions is quite boring since the room is very wide and empty and lacks of details...but on the other hand thats creates an air of uncannyness... the contrast between shadow and light isnt big enough to create the illusion that its nighttime, the illuminated part should stand out more agains the shadows

Make the glow smoother and the floorboards more staggered to start. It needs some work.
