ekobor - i thought all puns were bad :P
thereisnocure - thx for compliments. insteresting point about the tattoos not fitting. I found the original reference and it had red tattoos with cool spirals on the breasts like in the film dark city. so maybe i will change it to those and it will fix the contrast issues. might be a while though.

other than the slightly unsettling hip/leg thing looks great. i fell the markings on the body are a bit too dark given the lower contrast of the rest of the piece. or maybe it's that the wings' contrast is too low in comparison to the chick. yeah, probably the latter.
do you mean try to make say the shadows on the face a little darker, shade cheecks brighter? im not sure how it doesn't fit with the body, though you could be right because i did that part first.
the forehead shading ill change at least, i dont think it makes much sense.
For me, at least, the forhead isn't a bother. I just noticed that my pervious comment was a bit senseless. I think I meant to say shading instead of the first "make up". As the shading of the face/head is different from the body, but as I say, in real life something like that may be achieved with make up :)
I think the hands are the best part of the piece. Well done.
i think its the size of the forehead that is throwing it off more but i will play around with the makeup.

The face's make up is a tad bland though. But perhaps it has something to do with make up :o?
good point about the leg + hip i'll try to work on anatomy for future pieces.
@onek - i thought the pose still worked on the pixel version.
A little much of silicone in her boobs, but very well done! And her right leg now I look at it seems a bit banana shaped and the joint a little too low in her hip maybe... But if it's down to such details, you can't say it's a very cool piece!
shading is very nice, but i like the npa version much much more, its more dynamic y'know , also to much muscels for me
thx for kind words i always knew painter color reduced and cleaned up yielded superior results just didn't think of using hardcore nudity to demonstrate it. but even better than this piece check out this one for a similar method showing superior composition, mood, construction, colors etc. that can result: www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/20235.htm if anyone doesn't understand why it is because it is a workflow similiar to drawing sketches, then blocking color, then adding detail to painting. pixel art is like going straight to adding detail to painting. eg. in this piece i didn't do the knees properly in the painter image and they were a real b*tch to do on the pixel piece so tedious so much trial and error.
Aha! One of the sexiest pixel chicks I've seen.
Head looks a bit odd with the body, not sure why though.
Great work.
thx dude im only starting with anatomy. check out posemaniac that was real helpful especially since the pose and ref were almost identical.
edit: forgot to mention this was a big inspiration for colors: www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/40062.htm
What a hard body! Lovely colors....very rich and artistic. I guess the only thing that bothers me is the tail right behind the leg. It's kind of throwing the thigh off a bit, or it could just be this dark monitor I'm on.
