Mathias- I think you're right. NES wasn't known for its' super-awesome graphics. I think I tried a little too hard to detail them. XD
Wolverine- Yep, these are CGA colors. I thought I might as well go for a harder palette to work with since this really was just practice.

I dunno man, I think a more simplistic approach may've benefitted readability some. I see you tried to maximize your detail, but a coloring style akin to cell-shading might do well here. Still though, I think these sprites are pretty cool, good job nonetheless.
The colors remind me far more of ancient old PC games (CGA I think) than NES. Nicely done sprites either way.
This is really good, i dont know why you dont sprite anymore.
