dont know what happened, but its not like we are making it up... i can only check the last screen and that has 48 colors at least....

imposible there only 4 colors you can even sea 110 colors in picture theres only 4.... i save it in PNG just like always,if you dont believe i can share psd file...
photoshop has a color count option....it says 110... dont know how you managed it but thats how it is, maybe some convertion error idk

i think you could add more details, especially for the backgrounds, to make them interesting... the shading can be highly improved and also the dithering isnt really working on such a small scale... also its strange that there is grass growing on the last screen, when its supposed to be some evil wizards cave or something
its very strange how you managed to get 110 colors into this one... reduce colors, also u shoud use the colors different, for example the the two darkest greys can easily combined without loosing any detail, so you have one more tone to work with, which is pretty much if you only have 4 ...
maybe this edit of the last screen can help you a bit...

why there need to be shade in cyclopps left head??? light comes from up left corner to diagonal to button..sceleton is par ouf of background...

I didn't get around to replying before, sorry. Warning, a lot of critique ahead: It is a good idea and has a lot of potential if you work on it a bit more and polish things up a little - there are many areas that are quite jaggy; the text, the helmet, the clouds, the cyclops. The text on the first screen - "Sparta" seems to be on a strange angle, I think it would look better if the text were written on a straight line. Why no HUD in the last screen? The cyclops' anatomy is very odd, it looks like the left pectorial muscle is facing forward, whereas the rest of his body looks as though it is on a slight angle. What is happening above the cyclops' head - is it left unshaded for a reason? What is floating above the skeleton in the second screen - is that an item, or is it a part of the background? Maybe instead of "Press (A)" - "press start"; From memory, I think most games did that.
Also, this has *111* colours (!!!) and the white space between the screens should be transparent. If you are going to change anything at all about this you should fix the colours and the transparency, otherwise it won't be accepted into the challenge.
