I really dislike the design here, but it's mainly the "Pixel Joint" logo, could it look anymore noobish?
You've obviously lost touch of the creative side of pixel art eyecraft... this is suppossed to bring out the essence of the pixel itself.
Hawk, what attitude and excuses? From my memory, I havn't done anything to you.
I perfectly understand Faktablad, and a new ones in revision so don't worry. Although I'd say that foogirls white bg site was pretty good.
It's not that it's just the attitude and the excuses.
1. I understand that you only made this for fun, but I'll critique it anyway (just say I'm critiquing it for fun). Personally, I don't think this layout would work too well. a) White backgrounds don't look too good for a gallery-type site. Usually the only sites that use white backgrounds are text-only sites. I can understand if you want only the title bar to be white, but white just isn't very professional looking. b) (This goes along with the white thing.) There's too much contrast. Look at the site layout that we have now, and you'll see that the main colors are roughly the same shade. Having very dark colors right next to very light colors not only looks bad, it can hurt your eyes after a while. I don't want to be admiring a good piece of pixel art and have the layout distract me. c) It's just too plain. At least the current title has some application of pixel art in it. This layout that you have looks like cross-stitching. It's a cool idea of a new style of pixel-art, and I'd personally like to see you take it further, but I don't think it would work well as a layout, that's all.
2. What have you got against Garage Inc.? He didn't mean to post 4 times in a row; There's no edit button, which means that if you want to add something to your original posts you have to put up an entirely new post. And you don't exactly have a stellar portfolio, either.
Made a little edit. I think it looks alittle better, but having the whole site black would look...well...not right.

That would be the intention Sedge, using some area maps or something. The arrow represents forum btw.
The reason I did this design is because it really shows of creation with few pixels.
Also Sedge, I used to be on pixelation and I did use PA for a bit, but they both closed down. So I am willing to dedicate my time to this website. Trust me, more of these ideas are to come.
Also, I'm not trying to sound rude or anything but there are too many things at this site that could use some upgraded "art". One being the title bar, specifically title, and the little "no avatar" sign.
We actually are definitely going to be moving to another design sometime.
That's a really nice design dude. The only problem is the "sublinks" need someplace to go. I guess a mouseover menu might work.

As for my beef with garage inc. I've been in the pixel community longer than he has. In fact, I introduced him to pixelation.
