Blood disappears too soon IMO, also, you can't see his attack movements very well... Still a great piece

You can see it behind of character during attack motions if you watch it carefully :)

Actually liquid expression such as a blood, is really not easy. I think it needs much experiences and sense.

Yes like as I wrote already, SNK and Capcom 2D fighting games gave me much of influences!
Really great. But in his idle animation he is holding a scythe, but it is missing in his attack. Why?
The animation seems a bit slow in areas like his headband, but I kind of like it that way! This looks really awesome and I would totally play a game like this, love the quick movemtna dn the blood is awesome looking! Hehehe.

Ah yeah that background was made by another artist and I just add it as a sample. I just focused at character only and didn't care about bgs... :$

hmm, background seems to be no pixel-art.. shadow definately isn't!
but the animation is pretty neat nonetheless! i'd recommend re-posting it w/o background and that shadow.
