This is my first pixel art, it was for a contest. There was a limited color palette. I know the background isn't very detailed or exciting or whatever, I had trouble with it, any help would be appreciated.

It's a purple head made of velvet.

Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Alright, I removed the window, now it's just a head.

I think the head looks cool, but it's a completely different style than the rest of the piece.  You've got a gritty, dark robot head with charming imperfections in a completely flat pink space, with a tiny dollhouse-perfect window in the upper corner.  I'd prefer to have seen just the head without the window.
