I like your crazy ideas, but your art suffers from composition and poor palette choices. Luck and Blue layers are way beyond this.

I'd suggest to try working with imposed palettes. Check palette challenges, either on PJ or Pixellation, or borrow palettes from works you like, or use a random generator, or one of those palette websites.
