DarkHawk: This was a tree made from my imagination. I only got the name "Tree from the Serengeti" because of the way the pallette worked with the line art to create a sense of a tree sitting alone on a great plain during a sunset. The tree is in no way real, or "correct" as a tree from the actual Serengeti. That should explain the "trees on the plains don't look like that". I'm not sure about the fact that there shouldn't be ANY green present. The serengeti looks like this: http://www.singerhuette.at/images/afrika/Serengeti%202003/Serengeti%20Ebenen%20g.jpg You can clearly see a lot of green. I sort of see what you're saying about the black outline, and the way that the tree goes into the ground. But how can you possibly say that the color of the tree is "wrong"?!? And that it lacks clarity? Maybe you were in a bad mood when you wrote this.
d-p: Thanks for the comments. Anyone else want to add their 2 cents?
