I had missed that, lovely! Great colors and semi-abstract composition.
The jar outlines are still jaggy, I'm not sure they're necessary.
Cookie fer ya. (sloooow loading)
the aa here doesnt seem to work very well.... as u said u '..aa-ed pretty much everywhere...' that isnt needed, most important, not on 45° lines, .....unless ure going for a blurry look.... also u should make sure youre lines arent "jaggy" in first place... clean them up as good as possible and THEN start AA-ing.... the dither doesnt work for me either since it gives a somewhat grainy texture, which is contrary to the smooth texture of an octopus (... skin...)... also since there is so few of it, it feels like ur where too lazy to do more.....also if ure going for that cartoony feel , its best to dont use any dither at all imo...
add highlights to the glas, also some shadows would improve this a lot.... ur color ramp is rather boring: dark blue, mid-blue, light blue.... use hue shifting to spice them up... for example thing of an object exposed to daylight... the highlight also contain warm colors of the sun like yellow (noon...) red (..morning, evening..)... wether the shadows reflect the colors of the sourroundings like the green of grass, leaves or the blue of the sky ...
heres an edit (note: ...6, instead of 20 colors...) :
Thanks for the comments! I was going for more of a cartoony feel than a realistic one, so the water wasn't meant to be perfect.
Great idea :D but the AA on the water makes it look kind of unrealistic
lol
I AAed pretty much everywhere, where do you think I need more?

Thanks. I know the jar's still a tad jaggy, especially on the bottom, but I'll revise it soon.
I like cookies (but I never thought of cookies as movies). Kinda slow, even on FiOS, but it was worth the wait.
