Hm....so much room to grow (me, that is)... You've turned my horrendous little block into art!
I will see what I can conjure up!
*Anti Aliasing, is that what that effect is called? It looks like it on the edges of the block, correct? - You do that by hand, correct? I apologize for all the questions, just extremely curious. *
Not bad!
Made this edit while you made yours.
Changed light on sides (yours is too much on left side, not enough on right), rounded shape, added highlights and wear on the blue material (supposed to be shiny); not on the yellow and reds (supposed to be paper or cloth).
You might also reduce saturation on the light yellow and red borders, they actually look fluorescent.
TheRobinHood - Thank you very much.
Manupix - I will see what I can do with those suggestions (no high hopes here ). As for what I meant by that statement, I was not certain if that could be entirely categorized as such.
Might I ask, how exactly do you project reflections? - How do you know what colors to use on which edges (does it depend on the light source?)?
Some edits have been made! Be they good or bad, we shall find out!
Nice colors. You might have lit the 3 faces by a different amount, and made edge highlights more indicative of actual reflections. What material is it made of?
"even if it may not be pixel art in its entirety": ah, waddya mean?
It's pretty neat
