Weekly Challenge: My Love From Outer Space
Yeah Mass Effect 2 is supposed to be one of the best games of the year :D. You should try it out, I haven't yet, but some people in my family have and they say it is really good :D.
I'm confident the line art and anatomy was decent. (There was a WIP which showed the basic line sketch in the challenge thread). For anatomy and proportions PoseManiacs was great reference. When I actually started on the details I couldn't find a style I was comfortable with - It's actually a lot harder than I initially thought compared to analog art. I don't consider it a very successful result but it was however a valuable exercise. I might revisit it with more color after I garnered some additional experience.
Basically this is a pun on Mass Effect, a roleplaying game that has been in the news a couple of times for allowing you to develop romances and do the (cleverly censored) naughty things with humans and aliens alike. When you talk to people you can select the different conversation options from the ring in the bottom of the screen. Replies on the top side of the ring are usually good natured ("Paragorn"), replies on the bottom are evil ("Renegade").
If you've never played the game I suggest you give it a try. Mass Effect 1 has a discount version available for PC and XBOX360, Mass Effect 2 has been recently released.

What is the brown/yellow thing in the bottom?
The line shaping of this and anotomy was amazing, I was kinda hoping for a little better :/. You just need realistic shading and not to worry about low color counts too much.
