'spiv' asked me to reveal more about my dark character 'Fred', well I haven't drawn the events of his life rather a full picture of the necromantic, diabolist, Shadow summoning arch mage.
In this picture he is in his vampire state!

A quick history of F.J.Valdenhiem,
Once a human nobleman, he married Elenor Lapointe, but her life was taken by the vampire 'Kraven'
He tried to defeat Kraven, but was not strong enough as a mortal, so he studied the dark arts of Necromancy and Diabolism under the guidance of the arch mage Ardenhald.
Eventually after being trapped by Kraven and forced to destroy his mentor, he was humiliated in the worst way when Kraven decided to induct him into the flock, he spent days chained in a cell, becoming what he despised the most, a vampire.
When the beast had taken over, Frederiks past pains had all been forgotten and unaware of his past, he was used by Kraven as a bodyguard and right hand man.
In the years that folowed Frederik performed terrible acts and evil throughout the kingdoms, until eventually battling the nightmare demon 'Qeolkrae' who, before attemping to kill Frederik, showed him that his worst nightmare, was in fact the reality of his forgotten past, the battle raged on for several days, before Frederik was victorious.
He went on to fulfill his desire of revenge by defeating Kraven in front of his minions and became the prince of shadows, ruler of his own clan.
The nightmares would not leave him however and he saught knowledge of how to stop his torment.
A messenger from the afterlife came to make a pact with Frederik and together they eventually came to an undestanding that if he wished to meet Elenor again, he must die, however this in itself would not be enough, he would need to redeem himself for all past crimes that he had committed and purge the world of a few demons and other nasty stuff along the way, before being welcomed into the kingdom of heaven and being reunited with his beloved.
Did he do it?
Who knows?
Well I do and I'm not telling!!

The blood he is crying is an example of his suffering and pain at the loss of his dear Elenor, vampires cannot cry tears!!
