lol, you still have some work to do with acheiving his style and quality perfectly. but your doing a good job.

Thanks for the input, I never really noticed the low color count I'll have to look closer.

edit: Yeah I looked at it closer and I do have a few too many colors that are way too close to others to justfiy having in there.

the colors quite match (antique look)... but ur color count is way to high (39!!)... i think fool himself is mostly going for a low color count in his pieces (like 8/ 16 )... also i think u were kinda trying to put too many details in some places... like the drapery on the sleve or the metal parts on the pullover thing.. which, in this case ,puts down readability a bit... mainly try to reduce colors, also then its much easier to redraw/correct stuff
