Extremely well set atmosphere. some things (the ?statues?) are a little messy and could benefit from some cleanup.
Opacity tends to dirty a piece, which works well in this case.

I think nobody is jealous, I think it looks great, regardless if it's a transparency added or not for the light--light is transparent.

 you obviously just used transparency to get the light/shadow effect on that guy. So it's not that great. You just used a repeating texture on the floor, used 2 copies of a statue, and made that little guy and thats it.

It's pretty to look at, but it's really not that great

 Thanks for all comments, yes of course I pixeled it in ps, for the border I used individual made brushes, the idea of using a border was inspired by Monsoon2d, I think this is a piece where a border fits in. EyeCraft, well, Im looking forward to your crusade-piece, meantioned is promised.

 Amazing. Almost impossible to believe its hand pixelled. I'd faint at the thought of doing something like this, its just monumental.
