Thnx for the comments guys :) They really help
@TheRH : Yea maybe it is kinda slow xD This piece end up being harder then I thought to produce so I kinda got stuck on my draft sprite and never really pushed past making the sprite do more. But more head movment sounds like it could make this sprite feel a liitle more alive. :)
@ onek: Insane man. I'm likeing the contrast on that version :) Makes me wanna re do him xD

Nice animation, a bit slow as onek said. Grey outline is good, but beg legs and arms shouldnt be lighter than the front legs and arms. Head/face should move a little.
the animation is well done... its a bit slow tho, but maybe thats just my browser...
for the pixel work, ... i dont like it getting lighter, at least not that extreme, i think u should keep the outline pure black all the way, ...also the contrast is very low and doesnt define volumes too well. maybe use less colors...
heres an still edit using NES restrictions which make it a bit oldskoolish ... i also used grey shadows, as u like it ;D

Yikes 16x16 :P Sounds like a challenge. I'll be sure to attempt one day :)
I greyed the back leg/arm just to distinguish background from foreground
plus I'm a big fan of grey shadows in any art xD

Nah, 32x32 is easy. Plenty of room. Trying doing 16x16.
Anyways it moves fine but I'm curious as to why the limbs furthest away are outlined in gray when everything else is black?
The walk cycle itself is well done
You could try making the head look a bit left and right. You don't actually do that when you walk, but it looks good in an animation. Also maybe make his body twist a little to follow the movement of the arms. The less parts in an animation that is static (unanimated) the better.
