Onek you're a lifesaver. I got quite fed up with this piece and I didn't know where to go with the animation, so I did some kind of weird lightblink. But this suits the piece much better.

also the little pause after two times ofd blinking is a bit strange, seems kinda choppy. maybe u could make it less repeative aswell...

.... added a few more frames.  tried to make it seem like a thunderstorm... i think it increases the dramatic effect a lot  when he only shows up for a short time ...

Might work better if the unlit you wasn't all black. Since bg remains lit, some dark sort of backlight should be visible, using the darkest colors.
