dude i love this series that you made. they're really awesome.
Gorgeous, simple, and heartwarming. Everything anything should be.
The legs read pretty funny because they end up occupying the same location for the forward extension and the back for both legs. It's masked well because of the head rotation, but might want to be careful with that in future Blue animations. Very cute though.

I'm loving these animations you are doing. the enlarged pixels give it a true feeling of retroactivity. only problem is that when the 'demon' recedes into itself at the end of the animation, the transfer seems off. I don't know if you were going for that effect, but it just looks ill-made at that point.
Perhaps have the creature dissipate into a smoke plume and have his head and mout reappear from his body in a fashion like a lava lamp. You get what I'm saying?
The serie you have posted is great ! It reminds me an old game from Eric Chahi named "Heart of Darkness" where the hero, a little boy, is attacked by shadows. Very nice
