In an infinite galaxy, what are the odds that a creature has the same muscle structure as human beings? Pretty good, as demonstrated by the inhabitants of Plen, a moon of <notpronounceablebyhumans>. Oh, and this one in particular gives an intergalactic "Hi!" to you all.

It looks just as bad when it has transperancy in there, in my opinion, so the black is going to stay.

 Nice work, its a smart character, nice shading, the black outline between body and arm looks a little bit disturbing.
