Actually, it's 1104 colors with a ton of extraneous transparent palette entries! Yowza! Anyhoo, gotta send this one back. DawnBringer summed things up nicely. Looks like you used a lot of Photoshop's auto-antialiased tools. Nothing wrong with this, of course, it's just not how we roll here.
Obvious 24bit-redux. Pixel-art is much about palette-management. This picture could look as good with- and should use no more than 16 colors. Why not trying a real pixel-paint-program like GrafX2: code.google.com/p/grafx2/
