The outer shading looks pretty bad on darker backgrounds.
AA is very well done, but the blue shadow looks a little fast made.
32 colors is a lot for an avatar, unless they're made to make it look so smooth like in this. Love it, it'd probably look better with more staerated colors though (even though itd up your color count).
