I know what you mean entirely and you're 100% correct, it's just that I've been working on this game for probably 10 years and that's what I came up with originally so it's almost too late to abandon them :/

If it's any consolation, most of the enemies aren't as "cute" as the pink ones (they're blue and scowling, kinda).

Edit: Don't use slime bubbles/porings in your game, it has been done a million times before, think of a new, original creature to make your game more unique! (My opinion) May I suggest a black, round bat with a blue mouth for example?
