you mean you had a fixed palette? yes, i know that, but---it is multicolor, right?---still you might have used the black as a background color and place the outline consequently in all spots where it should be present, or replaced the browns and grays with the black in some areas; eventually, made some black/gray transitions. just suggestions, though, i like it anyways! :)
This colors are chosen so because the work was used in the invitation for Commodore C64. So it was conceived.
yeah ;) but the tongue/chin area lacks in contrast -- you could make use of the black in those spots, or get rid of the nose/eyelash/hair outline instead and keep the whole thing low-contrast. unless this serves as a background for some more complicated textscrolls and sprites. c64 hoo-ah!
I really like this!
However, I think that the ear could have a bit more detail and the lips some AA. But good pixalart.
