The entire website is in English. We have people from everywhere in the world here, Japan, Russia, China, Indonesia, Poland, Finland, Sweden... and they don't seem to have a problem with it. It's all about having a standard language so people from all over the world can talk to each other, exchange ideas and comments, and you know, be an unified community. English is used because it's pretty much an international standard and a language that most people seem to learn at some point.
By commenting in Portuguese with other Portuguese speakers, you effectively lose the chance of getting feedback from foreigners or having the rest of the community to join in the discussion. Everybody loses. Also, the automatic translation at the top of the site is set to translate from English, so that'd be compromised as well.
You don't see people translating posts because they already post in English. For some reason, Brazilians don't seem to be that thoughtful.
I don't see anyone bothering to learn portuguese, and not every brazilian knows how to speak english.
Don't mean to sound rude or anything, but english isn't the only language in the world.
Why do I have to make an english translation on every post if I don't see anyone doing that in english posts?
But well, if you care that much:
Não tinha visto esse ainda XD
Muito foda, gostei do contorno XD

I hadn't seen this one yet XD
Awesome, I like the outlines XD
Edit: ---------------------
I just noticed you are brazilian. But my opinion is still the same.
Please, this is an international community. It is good practice to comment in English so everyone can interact.

I just think that if you care enough to want to understand portuguese posts, you'll probably want to use one of the infinite automatic translators - after all, it's what most people that don't understand english do. I do agree that it's useful to post in English when I'm going to add something relevant to the post, but in this case, It wasn't event a critique. I would completely agree with you if you said that about an elaborate critique that I wrote in portuguese, but this really isn't the case.
Anyway, I think it's better to leave it at this, but I see your point, and I agree.
