you know, this, the splatter, and the willbot thing. it's all very experimental and the style is very postmodern.
Just pretend it was filmed under a very focused spot light.
Speaking of focus, that's what art does. Sure, on a technical level, there exists a few itty bitty ripples fading into the distance, but we didn't need them, so an artist can ignore them.
Also, this looks like the shiny polyvinyl membrane of a speaker to me, immediately putting the power of a soundscape into my mind, and creating an impressive fusion of audio and vision.
Truly amazing stuff - simple and elegant and powerful.

@ Stickman - Thanks! I thought that too, and making the ripples farther apart would've worked too I guess. Only thing was, I had finished almost all of it when I had realized it, and I was about 3-4 hours in on the ripples :P

It could be a screen shot of some kind of DS Final Fantasy intro movie or trailer, it's so evocative (not just beautiful).

what I wanted to say is on the tip of my tongue, but the only thing I can say now is awesome
