It is all original pixeling, every pixel is placed by me. I havent taken any reference from donkey kong or kirby, only the main character color palette is kinda ripped. I havent used any visual reference from other games, dunno why you think that way.

Looks like Koopa's, Kirby's, Donkey Kong banana's, and Pietepiets work. You really need to come up with some original designs man.

I'd offer worthwhile criticism, but everything is so different in style that I'm having a hard time believing it's not all ripped from different sources.

Oh ya! The lava on your link is looking much better!

I'd maybe saturate the oranges and yellows just a little more, but thats more my personal taste- I think what you've got going works fine- defintely reads as lava

not bad- my crits would be that the lava looks a little strange, more like red water- maybe try giving it a more bubbly look - example -a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/5462/2h/images.gamezone.com/screens/29/6/99/s29699_nds_21.jpg

Also maybe break up the the repeatitivness of the walls and floor, instead of just one tile for each give it a couple just to look a little mroe interesting.

I think the banana counter in the top left could also be more interesting/ not just a 2X image of the other bananas
