Try to look or positive things that you like, rather than just saying that the whole thing is a piece of shit.
Don't be an ass. This is a great piece, but the swirls do take away from how serious/dark the atmosphere should be.

On topic, what if you made the white part be a color instead, like a light red or something? Something that still has the same sort of contrast, but a little more flavor. Also, I think the shape of the blade of the scythe could use some more attention.
The swirls ruins it so much. Not that it would be good in any way without them. Shit piece whatever.

I agree with Frost. The swirls is the one thing keeping this from being an extraordinary piece. It conflicts with the subject matter and seems like something tacked on rather than a crucial part of the composition.
I like the design and the colors, but I dont know about the swirls. I think it would look better if the swirls were more like smoke..
