Thanks for the comments!
It might be a bit hard to see it at first, but yes, it's moving forward. Index the legs like this (from viewer pov): 1 (back left), 2 (back right), 3 (front left), 4 (front right). Legs 2,3 rise to the air while legs 1,4 push/pull the body forward. Legs 2,3 touch the ground. Legs 1,4 rise to the air while legs 2,3 push/pull the body forward. Legs 1,4 touch the ground.
You could also first ignore the back legs and consider only the front legs. The left leg rises to the air while the right leg is pulling the body forward. The right leg rises to the air while the left leg is pushing the body forward.
It might be even easier if you think of it as two people leaning on each other, the one on the left is walking forward (pushing) and the one on the right is walking backward (pulling).
Pretty cool. I have to agree with the others that the legs have very odd movement, but anyway still a good work.
Ooooh! Haven't thought that there will be something matching old Dennis'
Movement looks fluent and somewhat heavy, good job imo. - And don't let the lack of other peoples imagination get to you.
legs doesnt make sense, if he did that, he woudnt move at all. he would just be gliding in the same spot.
legs actually make no sense. Only crit though :)
Wonderful palette
Nice, but for some reason the leg animation doesn't make sense.
great concept and i like the color selection too but i think that angle is a little weird.
